Risa's Golden Retrievers

Jessica and I decided to get two English/American brothers.  They are litter mates from a Rico/Mariah litter.  The two together are a HANDFUL!!!  We live in the city, but have a large backyard for the two to play in.  Having two pups takes much more commitment than we had thought, but these two boys bring us so much joy.

My boyfriend, Alex, and I got our wonderful puppy, Zoe, (of Rico and Peaches) in March 2008.  I guess she's not a puppy anymore since she'll be 2 in January!  We love her so much; she's the funniest and sweetest dog either of us have ever met. 

We just picked up "Otis" from Diana Conard on Friday, June 15th.  He is doing SO well and adjusting to our family quickly.  He is resting in his crate at night and loves to play with the kids during the day in between napping and chasing our kitty.  Soon, I believe they will be great friends as our kitty "Lilly" is quite interested in what "Otis" is doing all of the time!

My husband Ken and I have two beautiful Golden Retrievers from Risa's Goldens.  They are Glory-age 2 years, and Ellie Belle-age 22 weeks.  They are smart, loyal, affectionate and bring us much joy and laughter. Our lives without them would not be nearly as much fun. Glory is also an amazing athlete and loves to fly off our dock at the lake for her baton. And FLY she does indeed!!!   Ellie Belle is just learning how to swim and it is so cute to watch.  Ellie also starts puppy training classes this 30 Sept.
